SABOR's 2017 Real Estate Awards Go To....

The San Antonio Board of REALTORS® recognized the outstanding achievements of several of its members during the Awards and Installation ceremony on December 6th at the Witte Museum.

Cher Miculka is the 2017 Broker of the Year. She obtained her real estate license in 1986 and is an instructor at the Real Estate School at SABOR. Cher is a TRLP graduate and holds numerous designations including the Certified Residential Specialist designation, the Graduate REALTORS® Institute designation, Accredited Buyer’s Representative designation, the Accredited Luxury Home Specialist designation and the E-Pro® designation. Cher is a Director on SABOR’s Board of Directors and she is the broker/owner of HSA Real Estate, LLC. She is a Sterling R major investor in TREPAC.



Mindi Stange is the 2017 REALTOR® Salesperson of the Year. A member of SABOR since 2014, Mindi is a REALTOR® with Ultimate Realty. She is not only a REALTOR® but also has experience in interior design, which helps her in her profession as a REALTOR®. Mindi also participates in her community and provides assistance to those in need. She has served on SABOR’s REALTOR® Image and Community Outreach Committee and will be the committee’s 2018 chairman. Mindi is a Capitol Club investor in TREPAC.


Sean Parker is the 2017 Rookie of the Year. Sean is a REALTOR® at Stonepoint Properties, Inc and has been a SABOR member since September 2016. During his first year as a REALTOR®, he participated in 26 transactions, sold 16 properties and took on 22 active listings. From his past experience serving in the U.S. Army, Sean believes that people are his business and that motto helps him to be a strong real estate agent. 



Erin Stark is the 2017 Affiliate of the Year. With Gateway Mortgage, Erin has been an affiliate member of SABOR since 2007. Throughout her membership, she has served on the Affiliate Partner Advisory Group, the Program Committee, and the REALTOR® Builder Committee. Erin can be seen regularly at SABOR functions where she not only attends but often participates as an advertiser.


Rachel Bruno is the 2017 Property Management Specialist of the Year. Licensed since 2006, she is a REALTOR® with RE/MAX Unlimited. Rachel is a past chairman of SABOR’s Communications Advisory Group and was the 2015 President of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, San Antonio Chapter. Rachel is a 2013 TRLP graduate. She also serves with the National Association of Residential Property Managers, NAHREP Corporate Board of Governors and the Junior League of San Antonio. In 2018 Rachel will be serving on NAR’s Diversity Committee and will chair SABOR’s Leasing and Property Management Committee.

Mary Ann Jeffers is the 2017 Lifetime Distinguished Service award winner. Mary Ann has been a SABOR member since 1998 and has been a REALTOR® for over 40 years. She was the 2015 chairman of the Board and is currently a TREPAC Trustee. Jeffers’ leadership experience has also included serving on the committees for Government Affairs, Professional Standards, and Housing Forecast. She has also served with the Texas Association of REALTORS® including the committees for the Housing Initiative and Professional Standards and with the National Association of REALTORS® on the committee for Conventional Lending and Finance. She is a 2006 TRLP graduate and is currently a REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper REALTORS®. She is a Golden R major investor in TREPAC, a member of the RPAC President’s Circle and is a Hall of Fame member. Mary Ann is a true representation of the professionalism of REALTORS® and is a shining example of distinguished service to the industry.

Roslyn Casey is the 2017 recipient of the Good Neighbor Award. Roslyn is a REALTOR® with KW Heritage and has been a SABOR member since 2004. In addition to being a REALTOR®, Roslyn is president of the board for Hearts and Hands, which is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes to benefit the local community. The organization works to raise funds and make contributions to other non-profit charitable organizations that provide services to the city of San Antonio, Bexar County and surrounding areas and communities. Roslyn has dedicated over 10 years to serving Hearts and Hands and has helped the organization raise over $654,000 to give back to our local community and surrounding areas.
